A festivity as nice as could be,
There were more than cake and tea…
And everyone smiling and jolly,
Seeing wine… Puddings and holly...
Welcome… I’m Bea... said she,
Hello, I’m Ned, he said,
let’s
go to bed…
To bed… With me? Asked she.
I never said that,
Answered he and spat,
Only staring at cake and tea.
Welcome… I’m Bea... said she,
Hello, I’m Ned, he said,
let’s go
to bed…
Who is everyone? Asked she,
As sweet as could be…
How should I know, answered he,
Wanting a beer… Not cake and tea.
Welcome… I’m Bea... said she,
Hello, I’m Ned, he said,
let’s go to bed…
What does that thing say?
Read it if you can see,
And who are Ned and Bea, asked
she.
I have no idea, answered he.
Welcome… I’m Bea... said she,
Hello, I’m Ned he said,
let’s go to bed…
Imagine married for so many years,
Still happy, loving and hardly ill in bed,
Everyone agreed and toasting, they said:
Happy 75th Wedding Anniversary Bea and Ned!
Welcome… I think I’m Bea... said she,
Hello, I guess I’m Ned, he said,
let’s go to bed!
